“Pabo,
pabo, pabo. How dare he said that? And people are keep adoring him?
Huh, don’t they know how rude he is? I really don’t understand them.”
Soo Il keep complaining while arranging the books on the bookshelf. She
had always love books. Getting a part time job at a bookstore is like
having a life-bliss for her.
“Understand who?” suddenly, a voice was heard from her behind.
She
turns to look at the owner of the voice, who she doesn’t think she
knows. But, the moment she saw that face, the scene that take actions
four hours ago is playing back in front of her.

Soo Il’s POV
“Anything I can help you with, miss?” he asked again when his first question was left unanswered.
“Oh… sorry.” I said while handing him the book, together with my student ID card.
“Kim Soo Il?”
“Yes.” I answered, and I swear I saw that mocking smile of yours while looking at my card, sir, which make me asked,
“What?”
“Huh?” he looked at me and then realize that my eyes did catch his short smile, or should I say, a smirk?
“Oh, that…nothing.” He said and continue doing what he is doing on the computer – filling my form I guess.
“And I do believe that.” I said, with sarcasm of cause.
Can
he feel my annoyance? I believe he did because he looks up at me and
gives me a sweet smile. What did I said? Okay. Scratch that. He gives me
a smile.
“It really is nothing, Kim Soo Il-shi.”
My eyes were darted at him. He keeps smiling and added,
“It just that your name…is a bit..unusual, for a girl.”
And
that was a really wrong choice of words, mister. I was going to reply
him when a girl put a book on the counter and stand next to me.
“Don’t
forget to return this book within two weeks.” He said, standing and
handing the book to me. He then moves to the girl next to me.

Jung Soo’s POV
I
was going for a cup of coffee when I suddenly saw her in the bookstore.
Looking at her red shirt, I guess she’s working there. But I never saw
her there before though. New worker? Totally forgotten about the coffee,
I push the glass door open and enter the bookstore. Heading towards
her, I can hear her little babbling.
“…don’t they know how rude he is? I really don’t understand them.”
“Understand who?” I asked.
I
can feel that she is actually a bit shocked that someone is listening
to her. She turn to me and the moment she saw me, her eyes said ‘I can’t
believe this’. But still, nothing comes out from her lips. Only those
eyes keep staring and throwing dagger at me. I’m laughing hard in my
head. How cute. I give her a smile but she just keeps that serious,
expressionless look. That look was still the same, she doesn’t change at
all. After few seconds of a motionless world, she decides to retreat.
She continues sorting the books on the shelf.
“Hey, are you just going to ignore me?” I asked, and here comes the stares again.
“Do I have the needs to entertain you?” she asked back.
“Err…yes?” I heard her sigh.
“What do you want?” she asks, and adds later,
“If there’s nothing, stop bothering me. I don’t even know you.”
“But I know you, Soo Il-shi. We’ve met before.”
“But I know you, Soo Il-shi. We’ve met before.”
“At the library? I don’t even want to recall that. And stop saying my name so easily.”
“Hey,
what are so angry about? Did I do anything wrong?” she’s throwing
daggers again… haish, this girl..you really love to stare, huh?
“Fine. I won’t bother you.” At least for today.
“Thank you.” She said sarcastically.
“I
better get off now then. See you again later.” I give her a smile
before leaving and from the corner of my eyes I can see her knocking her
head on the shelf.
