[Soo
Il’s POV]
I can’t stand this
anymore. It’s been nearly half an hour and he didn’t even say a thing. And most
importantly, where are we actually going? We already passed the junction to my
house area five minutes ago.
“Jungsoo-shi.”
Silence.
“Jungsoo-shi.”
Silence.
“Park Jungsoo!!!” I
called and look at him. I am a bit surprise to see him smiling like nothing
happen. Feeling a bit awkward, I decide to turn back in front.
“What?” He suddenly
asks.
“What ‘what’?” I ask him
back.
“You called me earlier. So,
what?”
“Oh, that’s right. I
called you earlier.” I said, more to myself.
“Where are we going?” I
ask. But, why does it sound more casual that it should be? I’m supposed to be
angry. I blame his smile and his sudden question for that.
“Where do you want to
go?” he asks me back.
“Huh?” I was surprised
by his question. It’s not me who decide to go with him on the car but then he
asks me where do I want to go?
“Where do you want to
go?” he repeat.
“You are the one who’s
driving.” I said.
“But I’m letting you to
decide.” He reflect.
“What if I say I want to
go home?”
“Except that.” He
casually answer.
“What’s with that? You
let me decide but then you want accept my decision? Pffft..” but of course all
that is just a mumble only for me to hear it.
But then, I hear a
chuckle, of course from him since there’s only the two of us in the car. I look
at him, and looking at that smile, I am somewhat feel like smiling too. I turn
to look out of the window, and try to suppress my smile.
“I miss you, Kim Soo
Il.”
I freeze.

[Jungsoo’s
POV]
It’s been a while since
we set off from my house but we still didn’t say anything to each other. Not
any single word. Not even a sigh.
Is she still mad at me?
But if she is, she wouldn’t follow me into the car right? But, what if she did
that because mom and dad were there? But, she didn’t look as mad as before
though. That means she she’s already cool down right?
“Jungsoo-shi.”
Huh? Did she call me?
“Jungsoo-shi.”
Did she really call me?
“Park Jungsoo!!!”
I’m not dreaming. She IS
calling for me. A smile formed on my face. It’s been long since I last hear
that. I can feel that she’s looking at me right now. How I love it when she’s
looking at me.
“What?” I ask her when
she didn’t continue what she want to say.
“What ‘what’?” she asks
me back, sternly.
Kim Soo Il, how I miss
this side of you.
“You called me earlier.
So, what?”
“Oh, that’s right. I
called you earlier.” She said, in a low voice but loud enough for me to hear
it.
“Where are we going?”
she asks. Based on the tone, I guess she wasn’t angry anymore. It doesn’t have
even an auns of angriness in it.
“Where do you want to
go?” I asks her back.
“Huh?” she said, and
look at me, but turn to look on the road again.
I look at her by the
corner of my eyes. Crossing her hand, her eyes are fixed on the road.
“Where do you want to
go?” I ask again.
“You are the one who’s
driving.” She reply.
“But I’m letting you to
decide.” I said.
“What if I say I want to
go home?” she provoke.
“Except that.” I said
and flash her a smile.
She starts to mumble
again. It’s not like I didn’t hear what she said, but, yes, Kim Soo Il just
love doing thinks in her weirdly way. How I miss this part of you too.
A chuckle slips out from
my mouth. But I can’t be blame for that. She is just too cute. I miss her, no
doubt. How did I survive this past two weeks without her?
“I miss you, Kim Soo
Il.” I blurt out.
*****
The sounds of the wave
fill the silence between them. Since they arrive there, nothing escape their mouth
yet. They only look at the waves that keep coming and going. In their head,
both are busy thinking on what the other one is thinking and what should they
say. How do they start the conversation? Both are clueless on that.
“So.” Finally, Jungsoo
start the conversation.
“So?” Soo Il ask back.
Both of them still
looking at the sea, did not even take a glance of the other person who is
talking.
“What is going on with
us?” Jungsoo ask.
But Soo Il did not
answer that. She wants to think properly before answering. She wants a
conclusion tonight. She’s tired. Tired of all the acts she put.
“Why don’t you tell me
what’s going on, Jungsoo?” she ask calmly. When there’s no response from
Jungsoo, she looks at him and add, still calmly.
“You confess to me. You
tell me that you know me since long ago. But yet, you went missing and never
turn up in front of since then. Don’t you think that at least, at the very
least, I need some explaination? I might even think you are a stalker.” She
mumbles the last part.
Jungsoo let out a smile
at what she said. He kept quiet for a while, but then say,
“I’ll tell you
everything. How we met, how did I fall for you, everything. Everything that
happen this past two years.”
